Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

WhichIsRealDaily.com ("we," "us," or "the site") is a free daily visual-deduction game. This page explains what information we collect when you play, why, and the choices you have. It's written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate -- if anything here is unclear, reach out using the contact details at the bottom.

Information we collect

Your game progress -- current round, score, and answers -- lives only in your browser's memory while the page is open. We don't save it to a server, a cookie, or local storage, and it disappears the moment you reload or close the tab.

If you submit your email through one of our newsletter signup forms, we collect that email address in order to send you the daily challenge and occasional updates about the game. We don't ask for a name, password, or any other account information to play.

Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and performance purposes. We don't use this to identify you personally.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage for one thing today: remembering the choice you make in the cookie-consent banner, so we don't ask again on every visit. We don't currently set any advertising or tracking cookies.

That will change as we introduce advertising to keep the game free -- see the next section for what that will involve and how you can control it.

Advertising

We intend to support this free site with advertising served through Google Ad Manager, which may work with Google AdSense and other third-party advertising-technology companies. Once active, these companies may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other sites, in order to show and measure ads -- including ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

You can read more about how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage your ad personalization settings at myadcenter.google.com.

Your choices

If you're visiting from the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you'll see a consent banner asking you to accept or reject non-essential cookies before any such technology is used. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, which will bring the banner back on your next visit.

For the newsletter, every email we send includes an unsubscribe option, or you can email us directly to be removed.

Children's privacy

WhichIsRealDaily.com is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes -- most notably once advertising goes live. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be reflected here; we don't send a separate notice for routine updates.
